UGC NET Score Predictor

Estimate the raw score you are likely to get on exam day, based on your own full-length mock tests.

Published 2026-10-10Last reviewed 2026-10-10Cycle: Check current cycle on ugcnet.nta.ac.in

Enter at least 3 scores to see your estimate.

How the estimate works

The tool looks at your three most recent mocks, adds a small adjustment for your overall trend (capped at 10 marks), and builds a range from how much your scores vary. It never uses cutoff data, because cutoffs depend on the paper and the number of candidates in each cycle.

How to get a reliable prediction

  • Take mocks in one sitting with the real 3-hour time limit.
  • Use mocks of similar difficulty; one very easy test inflates the estimate.
  • Record your score honestly, including questions you guessed.

Use the marks calculator to score a mock from its answer key, and read our guide to reading cutoff data.

Frequently asked questions

Can this tool tell me if I will qualify UGC NET?

No. Qualification depends on the final subject and category cutoff, which NTA sets after the exam. This tool only estimates your likely raw score from your own mock tests.

How many mock tests should I enter?

At least 3, and ideally 6 or more full-length mocks taken under real timing. More mocks give a more reliable range.

Why is my range wide?

A wide range means your mock scores vary a lot. Stable scores across mocks narrow the range and usually mean your preparation is more consistent.

Should I enter sectional or full mocks?

Enter full-length mocks only (Paper 1 + Paper 2, out of 300). Mixing sectional tests makes the estimate misleading.
